Sunflower Abstract I, painted during a live demo in Laguna Beach, CA on August 7, 2020, the painting depicts the forms of Sunflowers glowing yet silhouetted against a blue sky. The leaves are marked by the common gold finch, who creates windows in the leaves.
The painting was recently featured at the Art of Hope exhibition at Purdue University Fort Wayne.
